Center + Breathe is a three-part therapeutic yoga series led by Laura Hanson. The goal of the series is to strengthen the mind-body connection, help students connect with their inner wisdom, and create opportunities for powerful energetic shifts. Each class of the series can be taken separately, though students will benefit most from participating in the entire progression. The series is designed to accommodate all levels.
Class 1: Ground
The first class in the series focuses on using breathwork, meditation, and yin-inspired postures to ground in the present moment and begin to practice mindfulness.
Students will learn to “witness” and observe sensation as well as the habitual patterns of the mind and body.
This practice will also explore how to cultivate presence and engage in powerful self-inquiry.
